National Numeracy is independent of government and receives no public funding. We were founded with sponsorship from Nationwide Building Society, the Rayne Foundation, John Lyon’s Charity and Oxford University Press.
There is now a great deal of work ahead of us – in terms of continuing public campaigning to highlight the need to improve numeracy and practical projects to help achieve it.
In order to continue this work and expand into vital new areas, we need further sponsorship, to help both with the core funding of the charity and with specific numeracy projects.
We are interested in hearing from anyone – organisations or individuals - who share our concerns and would like to help us beat the problem of poor numeracy in the UK.
If you would like to discuss how you could help, please contact Mike, our Chief Executive at firstname.lastname@example.org and he will get back to you as soon as he can. Alternatively, individuals can also visit our Vigin Money Giving page.
All other offers of support are also really welcome - once we secure additional funding we will be looking to develop a number of projects that we hope will draw upon this support.
