Festive prize draw
We want to hear your 'number story'. We've all had different experiences of maths and numbers - positive and negative - and sharing these stories can inspire others to reflect on their own maths journey.
We want you to send us a short voice recording to our WhatsApp on 0775 4850 161 telling us how you felt about maths as a child and how you feel now along with a couple of pictures. We will then turn this into a short video like one of these:
These stories are so helpful when it comes to reaching adults and getting them started on their learning journey. We'd love to hear your story.
Terms and conditions
By submitting your number story before the end of 15 December you will enter a prize draw under the following Terms and Conditions:
- Prize draw open only to UK residents aged 18+
- To enter, individuals must send a voice-note to our official WhatsApp 0775 4850 161 to tell us how they felt about maths growing up, along with their name and a picture of themselves as a youngster and an as an adult. You can also submit your entry via email at comms@nationalnumeracy.org.uk
- By entering this prize draw you agree to let us share your story on our social media channels. We will follow up with you when we plan to share your story publicly to let you know, but if you do not respond National Numeracy reserves to right to share the story you share with us. - There is one prize and one winner. The winner will be picked at random using a random number generator.
- The entrant who is the winner will be contacted via the contact details used to submit their entry. If they do not respond within 3 days National Numeracy reserves the right to choose a new winner.
- The prize is a digital One4All voucher worth £100. Once the winner responds to our initial contact we will send the prize via email where it can be used via a smart phone. If the winning entrant does not own a smart phone we will arrange delivery of a physical voucher.
- Closing date is Monday 15 December 2025
- Winner will be contacted on Tuesday 16 December 2025
- This prize draw is not open to any National Numeracy employees or their families.
- Any additional personal data collected as part of this prize draw will only be used for the purposes of running the prize draw.
- If necessary, we will ask for an address in order for National Numeracy to fulfil the prize. This data will not be used for any purpose other than fulfilment.
- National Numeracy will not enter into any correspondence to change their decision on prize winners.
- Prizes subject to availability and no cash alternative for any prizes will be offered.
