Get ready for September with National Numeracy’s school resources

Did you know National Numeracy has resources for schools?

 Our resources are being used in over 150 schools to help teachers instil positive attitudes to mathematics, build solid understanding and engage parents in their children’s maths learning. Whether you are teaching mathematics at primary or secondary level, read on to find out more below about how we could help you. 

In a recent customer survey, 100% of schools who responded would recommend National Numeracy's Passport Maths and Family Maths resources to other schools.

Help your year 7s to grasp the basics

Our Passport Maths secondary catch up programme provides year 7 students with specialised online educational tools to help them grasp fundamental concepts they might have missed at primary school. A proven way of raising achievement, this intervention scheme is aimed at students starting secondary school below the expected standard in mathematics.

Get more parents involved 

Our Family Maths Toolkit is full of ideas and free activities to help families enjoy maths together, as well as advice for teachers and schools to engage families with their child's maths learning. The free audit tool can help you develop an approach to working with even the least engaged families. Alongside this, our Family Maths Resources provide at-home activities for children in reception and school years 1-6 to complete at their own pace.

The tasks are enjoyable and practical,  parents have enjoyed getting involved.
