On Friday March 2 there was significant coverage in most national newspapers, including The Telegraph, The Independent, The Guardian, the Daily Mail, the Mirror, The Sun, The Times and in many regional and local papers and magazines - including the Special Educational Needs Magazine SEN.
There were various interviews and features broadcast through BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Breakfast News on BBC One, BBC News, BBC's One and Six O' Clock News, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC World Service, Sky News, Channel 4 News, and many other BBC local radio stations. National Numeracy Trustees also featured on several commercial radio stations, including an interview with Wendy Jones on Surrey's RadioWey, and one with Mike Ellicock on The Week With George Galloway on TalkSport. Numeracy was also discussed on BBC Radio 4's Any Questions, and the BBC's current affairs programme The One Show.
News of National Numeracy's launch even spread to the US (which is facing similar issues) through an interview with CEO Mike Ellicock on The World.
We will look to build on this strong start over the coming weeks and months.
